Spay and Neuter Certificates

One person can make a difference in hundreds of animal's lives merely by spaying/neutering their animals.
Please help us minimize unwanted litters in Hart and Franklin Counties.

Why Spay and Neuter?

Animal's natural urge to reproduce is very strong. In fact, it is almost impossible to prevent animals in heat from mating. Pets may escape from a house or yard, fight with other animals, and unwanted litters lead to thousands of animals being abandoned or euthanized in shelters.

Our low-cost program helps lower the costs of "fixing" your pet and helping to control unwanted animals. The cost per certificate is $30 for each cat and $65 for each dog. This is a substantial discount for pet owners!

Applications to our subsidized spay/neuter program are available to purchase in person at the Hart County Humane Society 1364 Reed Creek Hwy. everyday 11:00 until 1:00, or at the Northeast Georgia Animal Shelter Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 11:00 until 3:00, and the Hart County Chamber of Commerce.

This program is available to families in need in Hart and Franklin Counties. Payment must be made by check, money order, or cash. Certificates must be purchased in person by the animal's owner. We do not accept mailed-in applications.
